What is the ruling on the imam going to the corner of the mosque after the Taslim to recite the adhkar, claiming that this is more conducive to reverence?

It is permissible for the worshiper—whether an Imam or a congregant—to stand up after the prayer is finished and sit in another place to recite the adhkar (remembrances). There is no specific place designated for the post-prayer dhikr; rather, they may depart and remember Allah elsewhere, as mentioned by Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar. Furthermore, the Imam's choice of a corner in the mosque for worship and his recitation of adhkar after the prayer is a good matter and there is no religious impediment to it, especially if that is more conducive to khushu' (devotion).
