What is the ruling on taking a Mushaf from the Grand Mosque to read it in another country?

It is not permissible to take a copy of the Qur'an endowed to the Grand Mosque (Masjid al-) or any other mosque for reading at home. This is because doing so violates the condition set by the endower, who restricted its use to the mosque only.
