Did you find songs in the era of the Messenger that included poetry and zajal and expressed love, and is there evidence for that?

What people witness today of dissolute songs, immodest movements, immoral love lyrics, and their proponents who call to the forbidden, is not permissible. Nothing like it existed during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) nor his Rightly Guided Caliphs. What existed during the time of the Messenger was the recitation of poetry that expressed lofty meanings and called for virtuous morals, as well as chanting, hida' (camel driving songs), enthusiastic anthems, and women playing the duff and singing on joyous occasions and Eid, while rejecting dissolute singing.

The hadiths have indicated this, such as the hadith (definition) of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) in the Two Sahihs, where she had two slave girls singing the songs of Bu'ath on the day of Eid. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said to Abu Bakr, "Leave them," and in another narration, "And they are not singing girls." Scholars have condemned some Sufis who innovated types of songs and dances, clothing them in the guise of religion. As for musical instruments (ma'azif), music, and instruments of amusement, they did not exist during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) nor in the generations attested to as being good.
