What is the ruling on wearing Punjabi attire, consisting of trousers, a shirt, and a shawl, if the shirt covers directly below the knee and the trousers are wide and loose, not revealing the details of the leg, for adornment for the husband or at celebrations such as weddings?

A woman may wear whatever she wishes for her husband when alone with him. However, outside the home, she must adhere to the Islamic regulations concerning dress, the most important of which are: that it covers the entire body, that it not be an adornment in itself, that it be thick and loose-fitting, not tight, that it not be perfumed or scented, and that it not resemble the clothing of men or disbelievers, nor be a garment of fame. It is also disliked to wear anything that describes the size of the body.
