Is it permissible to pay the expiation for an oath (kaffarat al-yameen) in money to a sick person for their treatment?

Monetary value is not sufficient for expiation of an oath according to the majority of Maliki, Shafi'i, and Hanbali scholars. Rather, it must be offered in the manner prescribed by the verse: feeding ten poor persons, or clothing them, or emancipating a slave. If one cannot find these, then fasting for three days. The Hanafis, however, permit giving the monetary value, and they allow feeding or clothing one poor person over ten days. It is not permissible to give ten days' worth of food to one poor person all at once.
