What is the destiny of a girl who discovered she is the daughter of zina (fornication/adultery) and was attributed to someone other than her father? Should she expose her family or conceal their secret? And how should she deal with her paternal siblings?

First: The child born of adultery is responsible for his good or bad deeds, like all other people.

Second: A child born to a married woman, after six months of marriage, is legally attributed to her husband. His paternity cannot be denied except through li'an (oath of condemnation) by the husband, even if the mother confesses to adultery or there is a resemblance to the adulterer. For the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, ruled that "The child is for the firash (marriage bed)."

Third: Resemblance alone or a woman's confession of adultery does not deny the child's paternity unless the husband performs li'an.

Fourth: One should turn away from thinking about this matter and focus on improving one's deeds and uprightness.
