How should a girl deal with her mother who mistreats her, falsely accuses her, and instigates problems between her and others?

We advise the questioner to investigate the reasons behind her mother's violent stance and to initiate reconciliation, either by speaking directly to her or by seeking help from close relatives to mediate between them. If this does not prove effective, then patience with her harm and dutifulness towards her are obligatory, even if she is a polytheist, based on the Almighty’s saying: "But if they endeavor to make you associate with Me that of which you have no knowledge, do not obey them, but accompany them in [this] world with appropriate kindness." A parent’s supplication against their child is answered if the child is disobedient and extreme in their disobedience, but not if it is an act of injustice and severing ties of kinship. The mother must repent from slandering her daughter, as it is among the major sins, and she must refrain from inciting discord among her children or supplicating against them.
