Why do some individuals strive to seek knowledge in Islam while others are born Muslims?

The greatest blessing God bestows upon a human being is to be born a Muslim and to live and die as such. This is a grace from God, not something earned by the servant.

However, not everyone born a Muslim realizes this blessing. Many have deviated from Islam despite being born into it, while others have been guided to it despite being born into disbelieving environments.

This is not an injustice from God; rather, it is a clarification of the path of truth and error. God sees those who were born Muslims and deviated, and those who were born disbelievers and became righteous.

Examples of this include the children and wives of some prophets who did not believe in them, in contrast to the wife of Pharaoh who believed in God.

So, a servant either gives thanks for the blessing of Islam into which they were born, or they diligently seek it if they have been deprived of it.

Regarding your parents, who differ in culture and religion, you must strive to invite them to Islam, for this is one of their greatest rights upon you. If God guides them, their reunion is hoped for, and if they remain separate, they have gained the true religion.

You must supplicate for them, exert material efforts, and seek the help of experts to achieve this.
