What is the meaning of Yahya ibn Mu'adh's saying: "Whoever is delighted by the service of Allah, things are delighted by his service, and whoever's eye is content with Allah, the eye of everyone is content with looking at him"?

The meaning of Yahya ibn Mu'adh's saying, "Whoever rejoices in the service of Allah, things will rejoice in his service," is that whoever loves and delights in obeying Allah, creatures will delight in serving him. This is manifested in the ease with which he benefits from them, whereas whoever disobeys Allah finds his affairs difficult, as some of the pious predecessors said: "Indeed, I disobey Allah, and I see that [effect] in the disposition of my mount and my wife."

And the meaning of "Whoever finds comfort in Allah, everyone finds comfort in looking at him" is that whoever finds joy in his heart through Allah the Almighty, feels intimate with Him, and draws near to Him, Allah casts his love into the hearts of creation, so they find comfort in him and are pleased by his sight. Thus, a good deed brings light and radiance, abundance in sustenance, and love in the hearts of creation, while a bad deed bequeaths darkness, gloom, deficiency, and hatred.
