How sound is Ibn al-Jawzi's saying: "Give Allah what He loves, and He will give you what you love; respond to Allah when He calls you, and He will respond to you when you call Him"? And what is the meaning of this saying if it is sound? And is it true that following specific steps such as constant ablution, giving charity, glorifying Allah (tasbeeh), and frequently praising Allah, is a correct way to achieve healing and fulfill needs, or is it an innovation (bid'ah)? And what are the deeds that please Allah and aid in healing?

In summary, Allah Almighty's reward for a servant is commensurate with their deeds. Whoever is for Allah as Allah desires, Allah will be for them beyond what they desire. This includes four matters:

1. Seeking closeness through His might and power: This means seeking assistance and relying upon Allah, for whoever relies on Him, He is sufficient for them. 2. Following Allah's will: This means obeying His divinely ordained commands, for whoever obeys Allah, Allah will obey them. 3. Forsaking for the sake of Allah: This means abandoning what is forbidden and disliked out of hope, love, and fear of Allah. This is the station of patience, for which its adherents will be paid their reward in full without reckoning. 4. Conclusion: Whoever desires Allah's grace and mercy must obey Allah and strive in His piety by following the Sunnah of the Prophet, peace be upon him.

One must beware of arranging specific litanies and methods of obedience that rival the Sharia, for fear of falling into an innovative bid'ah.
