Is the verse: {Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful"} abrogated?

The verse: "Say: 'O My slaves who have transgressed against themselves [by committing sins]! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, He is the All-Forgiving, the Most Merciful'" is not abrogated. It applies to those who repent before their death and invites all sinners to repentance and turning back to Allah. Allah forgives sins for those who repent from them, no matter how numerous they are. This is supported by its reason for revelation concerning those who had transgressed by committing polytheism, murder, and fornication, and then repented.
