Does the blessing of the reward obtained from studying in the path of Allah diminish or disappear due to committing some transgressions, such as: delaying or making up prayers, intermingling and looking at female students, lying in some matters related to studies, absence from studies, and feeling pleasure during studies? Is delaying prayer without a valid excuse considered disbelief? And what are the consequences of dying before repenting from these sins, knowing that discontinuing studies might increase depression and lead to other sins?

You must hasten to repent from delaying prayers without a valid excuse, from unlawful mixing, and from lying. Strive to obey Allah and avoid His prohibitions while continuing your studies and excelling in them. Do not succumb to Satan's discouragement. Your love for certain subjects does not contradict sincerity in seeking knowledge, as long as your motive is to please Allah. Turn away from these whispers and pay no attention to them. Seek Allah's help and supplicate Him frequently to rid yourself of them.
