What are the supplications recited during ablution?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

The remembrances (adhkar) reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, concerning ablution are: uttering "Bismillah" (in the name of Allah) at its beginning, and the supplication during or after ablution: "O Allah, forgive my sin, and expand my dwelling, and bless me in my provision." Also, the supplication after finishing it with the remembrance: "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, alone, without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger," and "O Allah, make me among those who repent, and make me among those who purify themselves," and "Glory be to You, O Allah, and with Your praise, I bear witness that there is no god but You, I seek Your forgiveness, and I repent to You." As for supplications recited when washing the limbs during ablution, nothing has been authentically reported about them from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
