What is the ruling on working in cleaning an airport that relies on tourism and receiving tourists?

Working in airport cleaning is permissible, and the wages earned from it are lawful, even if the airport is frequented by tourists who commit some unlawful acts. This is because establishing an airport and facilitating the movement of people is permissible.

Officials must prevent unlawful acts in tourist areas, as they do not lead to an increase in national income but rather to Allah’s punishment. Allah Almighty says: "Corruption has appeared on land and sea by what the hands of people have earned, so He may let them taste part of what they have done, that they may return [to righteousness]."
