Is it permissible to marry a maternal aunt, and what is the punishment for minor fornication in Islam if the perpetrator does not repent?

Islamic Sharia prohibits a man from marrying his maternal aunt, in accordance with the Almighty’s saying: "Forbidden to you are your mothers, your daughters, your sisters, your paternal aunts, and your maternal aunts." Whoever falls into such a relationship must repent to Allah and avoid seclusion and mixing with his maternal aunt, because she has become a stranger to him. As for zina (fornication/adultery) without penetration, it is a reprehensible act and a pathway to major zina, and it necessitates discretionary punishment if the perpetrator does not repent.
