What is the ruling on fasting the Day of Ashura if it falls on a Saturday?

Fasting on Saturday alone is disliked by the majority of scholars, unless it coincides with a fast a person is accustomed to, or a day whose fasting is recommended, such as the Day of Arafah and Ashura. In such cases, it is permissible without dislike according to the four madhhabs. Therefore, there is no harm in fasting on Saturday if it coincides with the Day of Ashura.
