What is the ruling on fasting Saturday according to the four imams, and is the hadith that Sheikh Al-Albani relied upon to prohibit its fasting a mudtarib (disordered) hadith, and is it permissible to fast it if it coincides with the Day of Ashura, and which has a stronger chain of narration: fasting Ashura or not fasting Saturday?

It is disliked to single out Saturday for fasting according to the four Imams, and this dislike is lifted by fasting a day before or after it, or if it coincides with a person's customary fast. This is based on the hadith: "Do not fast on Saturday unless it is obligatory upon you." Ibn Taymiyyah held the view that it is not disliked to fast on it alone. If it coincides with the day of Ashura, there is no dislike in fasting it.
