What is the Islamic ruling on eating raw meat?

Some scholars dislike eating raw meat, but the correct view is that it is permissible due to the absence of any evidence prohibiting it, provided that no harm results from it, based on the Almighty’s saying: "And do not throw [yourselves] with your own hands into destruction."
