The question

What is the way to overcome the feeling of suffocation and distress resulting from thinking about the eternity of life after death, and how can this idea be understood and accepted without objecting to God's decree or doubting His destiny, especially with the existence of scholars' opinions who say that everything will eventually perish?

The answer

One must believe in thebUnseen and in what Allah has promised, and that what has been decreed for a person will inevitably reach them by Allah's power. The texts of the Qur'an and Sunnah indicate the eternal dwelling of people in either Paradise or Hell. Hell is for the enemies of Allah, abiding therein forever, and Paradise is for the righteous believers, abiding therein forever, neither dying nor aging nor despairing. Therefore, one must believe in what has been established in the two revelations (the Qur'an and Sunnah) and strive to attain eternal happiness by adhering to acts of obedience and shunning sins, for every deed will be accounted for.
