Is a wife entitled to request housing close to her workplace to preserve her professional future as a doctor?

It is permissible for the wife to ask her husband to live near her workplace, but he is not obligated to do so Islamically unless she stipulated it in the marriage contract and he agreed, based on the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) saying: "The conditions most worthy of fulfillment are those by which you legalize sexual intercourse." It is desirable for him to fulfill her request out of good companionship, which is commanded in His (Allah’s) saying: "And live with them honorably," and the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) saying: "Treat women kindly," and "The best of you is he who is best to his family."
