Is it permissible for a wife to stipulate in the marriage contract that her husband house his second wife no less than fifty kilometers away from her, and what if the husband rejects this condition after agreeing upon the wedding date?

The fundamental principle regarding conditions in a contract is their validity and the obligation to fulfill them, as long as they do not contravene Islamic law. This is based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "The conditions most worthy of fulfillment are those by which you make intimacy lawful," and Allah Almighty's saying: "O you who have believed, fulfill [all] contracts."

Therefore, if the wife stipulates to the husband that she wishes to remain a teacher or a student, this is a valid condition that must be fulfilled. If the husband does not fulfill this condition, the wife has the right to annul the marriage.
