The general rule regarding conditions in a marriage contract is that they are permissible, valid, and binding, based on the hadith: "The conditions most worthy of fulfillment are those by which you make intimacy lawful." For validity, there are three conditions: that the condition does not contradict the essence of the contract, that it does not contradict Islamic law, and that it contains a benefit for the contracting party.

If these conditions are met, the conditions are valid and binding, which entails the wife's right to annulment if the husband breaches them. As for the husband, it is recommended for him to fulfill the condition.

If the husband does not fulfill the conditions, the wife has the right to annulment, and she should refer her case to the judge to annul the marriage based on the option of the condition, unless she waives the condition explicitly or by enabling him while being aware of the situation.
