What is the remedy for relapse and a worsening of one's condition after performing the repentance prayer (Salat al-Tawbah), seeking forgiveness, and hoping for pardon?

The remedy for what was mentioned is not to despair of the spirit of Allah, to turn to Allah no matter how often the sin is repeated, to seek His help for sincere repentance, to strive in supplication and humility, to think well of Allah, not to succumb to the temptations of Satan, to repent every time one sins, to be sincere to Allah, to frequently perform good deeds that efface sins, and to associate with righteous people, knowing that Allah is Forgiving and Merciful, and that His mercy is more expansive, as He Almighty said: {Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."}
