Is it permissible to display a painted and colored portrait of a martyred brother in a public place as a memorial to him and to revive the spirit of martyrdom in the souls of children?

It is not permissible to draw or sculpt images, nor to hang them in homes and public places, because this involves exaggeration that may lead to being infatuated with them and worshipping them instead of Allah, as happened with the idols that were images of righteous people. Children can be raised on Islamic morals through other permissible means.
