Is the wife obligated to name her son with the name she saw in a dream, or must she obey her husband in choosing another name for the newborn?

The wife is not obligated to follow what she saw in a dream; rather, she must obey her husband. The newborn should be given the best and most preferred names, such as "Abdullah" and "Abdul Rahman," for these are the names most beloved to Allah. Then, naming after prophets, companions, and their successors is recommended. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, named one of his sons Ibrahim, and Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, was known by the kunya Umm Abdullah.
