What is the virtue of Tarawih prayer?

The Tarawih prayer is a recommended Sunnah by scholarly consensus, and it is a form of Qiyam al-Layl (night prayer). "Whoever prays during the nights of Ramadan out of sincere faith and hoping for Allah’s reward, then all his previous sins will be forgiven." It is recommended to increase acts of worship during the last ten nights of Ramadan, revitalizing them, and among them is Laylat al-Qadr (the Night of Decree), the prayer during which forgives past sins. It is also recommended to be keen on performing Qiyam Ramadan in congregation, and "whoever prays with the Imam until he departs, it is recorded for him as if he prayed the whole night."
