The answer

This transaction is called a Salam sale. Among its rulings is that the muslam ilayh (the factory owner) must deliver the muslam fih (the oil) at the specified time, and he is obligated to obtain it even if its price increases. If delivery becomes impossible due to the unavailability of the muslam fih, the muslam has the choice between taking back his capital or waiting for the muslam fih to become available. As for the muslam ilayh paying the value of the muslam fih to the muslam, this is not permissible according to the majority of scholars, while Ibn Taymiyyah and Ibn al-Qayyim permit it only up to the value. Therefore, selling the muslam fih back to the factory owner for one thousand one hundred dinars is not permissible according to the view of the majority, but is permissible according to the opinion of Ibn Taymiyyah and Ibn al-Qayyim, and a narration from Ahmad.
