Is a person sinful for feeling no love for his mother-in-law and wishing for her to leave his house, and is this considered hypocrisy, and how can he get rid of this feeling, and will he be rewarded for his patience despite the presence of this negative feeling?

A wife's honoring of her husband's mother and showing affection towards her, despite feeling uncomfortable with her presence, is not hypocrisy. Rather, it stems from good character, noble nature, and a desire to please Allah. This does not invalidate the reward, as long as the intention is purely for Allah. To overcome negative feelings, one should recall the immense reward and great favor in this world and the hereafter that result from such kindness and from helping the husband be dutiful to his mother, alongside frequent supplication and seeking assistance from Allah.
