What is the ruling on a man wearing bracelets, and is it considered imitation of women, especially since the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, gave the Companion Suraqah ibn Malik the bracelets of Khosrow? Are there specific conditions for wearing a bracelet to be permissible for men?

Al-Bayhaqi, Ibn Asakir, Ibn Abd al-Barr, and Al-Shafi'i narrated that Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, made Suraqah ibn Malik wear the bracelets of Khosrau, fulfilling the prophecy of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. For this reason, compilers mention this story among the proofs of the prophethood of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.

However, this report is not authentic due to an interruption in its chain of narration, as Al-Hasan al-Basri did not witness this incident. Thus, it is a Mursal report and cannot contradict the hadiths prohibiting men from imitating women. Even if the report were authentic, it does not state that Suraqah adopted the bracelets or wore them thereafter.
