What is the ruling on a man wearing a sporty fabric bracelet on his hand?

It is not permissible for men to wear bracelets at all, as it involves imitating women and people of corruption. This is because the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed men who imitate women, and due to his saying, peace and blessings be upon him: "Whoever imitates a people is one of them."
