What is the ruling on wearing bracelets made of plastic, fabric, leather, thread, or iron, which are worn by men and women for adornment and are not considered imitation of women in the custom of their people?

Islam forbids men from imitating women and vice versa. This includes attire, clothing, dyeing (henna/saffron), voice, appearance, speech, and all other movements and mannerisms. It is forbidden for men to wear bracelets, whether made of leather or metal, because they are part of women's adornment. No man wears them except one who is effeminate and imitates women. Scholars have mentioned that wearing a bracelet or similar items for men involves an effeminacy that is not befitting of masculine chivalry. A man must choose adornments that suit his masculinity, his religion, and his society.
