Is it true that the name "Rayyan" refers to one of the gates of Paradise, and is it permissible to name a female with this name?

Paradise has eight gates, among them is the gate of Ar-Rayyan, through which the fasting people will enter on the Day of Resurrection. Naming a child "Ar-Rayyan" is not Islamically prohibited because it is a description that denotes fullness, and its feminine forms are "Rayya" or "Rayyanah." It is not among the forbidden or disliked names. Forbidden names are those that contradict Islamic creed, or are ugly and blameworthy, or involve self-praise or effeminacy. It is recommended to name children with good names, such as the names of prophets, male companions, and female companions, which carry meanings of high aspiration.
