Does the name "Rawan" mean a basin in Paradise?

The meaning of the name "Rawan" is not known, nor is its existence as a name for a part of Paradise. It might be derived from names like "Raya," "Arwa," or "Rayyan," which mean "quenching thirst" or "irrigation." "Al-Rayyan" is one of the gates of Paradise through which those who fast will enter. There is no religious impediment to naming a child "Rawan" unless there is an unknown reason for prohibition.
