Is the pleasure and displeasure of a father who favors some of his children in treatment over others, and gives money to those outside while not spending on the education of his needy children, and is known for cursing and swearing at home – is his pleasure and displeasure acceptable to Allah? And what should be done in this situation?

The pleasure of Allah stems from the pleasure of the father, and His wrath from the wrath of the father. This applies generally to every father, unless the father's displeasure is without a valid reason. The financial support of a poor father is obligatory upon his children equally. If he requests money when he is not poor and paying it does not harm you, then it must be paid. Describing the father as worshipping money and saying, "Your actions are not those of people who go to the mosque," contradicts proper conduct and is considered an act of disobedience (uqooq). It is not permissible for a father to differentiate between his children; rather, he must be just among them.
