What is the ruling on participating in a strike to demand higher wages?

Striking is a permissible means to improve the conditions of workers and employees. Its ruling takes the ruling of the objective for which it was done. If it is for the acquisition of something obligatory, then it is obligatory. If it is for the acquisition of something forbidden, then it is forbidden. Workers must not strike to change a situation they have agreed upon, unless the specified contract period has expired.
