To what extent is the prophetic hadith "Whoever praises me with half a word, my intercession becomes permissible for him on the Day of Resurrection" authentic?

The aforementioned hadith is not found in the references. Praising the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, loving him, revering him, and sending blessings upon him are among the greatest acts of nearness to Allah. The Companions and the Pious Predecessors praised him, following the example of what came in the Holy Quran, which described him as having a tremendous character, and commanded belief in him, honoring him, revering him, supporting him, and following the light that was sent down with him.
