Are there prophetic hadiths to the effect that memorizing one-third of the Qur’an attains one-third of prophethood, and memorizing two-thirds of it attains two-thirds of prophethood, and that memorizing the entire Qur’an attains prophethood without revelation? And is there a Qur’anic verse that forbids grieving over polytheist men and women?

The aforementioned Hadith is judged as fabricated due to the weakness of its narrators, such as Bishr ibn Numayr and Al-Qasim ibn Abd al-Rahman, who were described as liars and fabricators of Hadith. Although there are corroborating narrations for the Hadith, their chains of transmission are severely flawed. However, its meaning has been reported as mursal (a narration where the successor narrates directly from the Prophet without mentioning the Companion) from Al-Hasan al-Basri. As for the Quranic verses that forbid grieving over disbelievers and wrongdoers, they are numerous, including the Almighty's saying: "So do not grieve over the defiant people" (Quran 5:26), and "So let not your soul be consumed with regret for them" (Quran 35:8), and "And let not those grieve you who hasten into disbelief" (Quran 3:176), and "And whoever disbelieves - let not his disbelief grieve you" (Quran 31:23).
