Does prayer with braided hair also not count for women?

The jurists have agreed that tying up hair (aqṣ ash-shaʿr) during prayer for men is a reprehensible act (karāhat tanzīh), but if one prays in such a manner, their prayer is valid. This ruling applies specifically to men, not women, because a woman's hair is considered 'awrah (intimate parts that must be covered) and must be concealed during prayer. If she were commanded to untie her hair, it would lead to its exposure, and that would cause her undue hardship.
