Is a female student obligated to leave her university studies if she is forcibly directed to a male internal medicine ward in the college of medicine, due to its conflict with Sharia regulations?

It is not permissible for a female student to accept training that necessitates revealing forbidden awrah (private parts) or seeing what is unlawful, even if it leads to expulsion from studies. This is because it is not permissible for a woman to expose a man's awrah except out of necessity. It is advisable to request the institution to provide a women's or children's section and to seek mediation for this. If this is not accepted, then it is obligatory not to comply and to seek help through patience and prayer. For whoever abandons something for the sake of Allah, He will compensate them with something better, and whoever fears Allah, He will make a way out for them and provide for them from where they do not expect.
