Is marriage a sin that brings about calamities and removes ease?

Marriage is a system legislated by Allah for the benefit and happiness of humankind in this world and the hereafter. Allah's promise of wealth to those who marry ("If they are poor, Allah will enrich them out of His bounty") is for those who seek Allah's pleasure and chastity through their marriage, as indicated by the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "There are three whom Allah has promised to help: the mujahid (fighter) in the way of Allah, the one who marries seeking chastity, and the mukatab (slave who has a contract to buy his freedom) who desires to fulfill his contract." This promise is contingent upon Allah's will, for Allah provides sustenance to whomever He wills, with what is best for the servant. A person should renew their repentance, draw closer to Allah, and rely upon Him, for whoever fears Allah, He will make for him a way out and provide for him from sources he could never imagine.
