What is the ruling on believing in dream interpretations, and does the first interpretation of a dream come true?

This vision is serious, and it is not permissible to interpret it except for someone who possesses expertise in its interpretation. The interpretation by an expert is conjectural and not definitive, and it is permissible to believe it. If a vision is interpreted, it occurs, in accordance with the hadith (definition): "A vision is on the wing of a bird as long as it is not interpreted; when it is interpreted, it occurs." This means that the ruling of the vision attaches to the dreamer or the one for whom it is dreamt when it is interpreted; it then descends and occurs where it was interpreted.
