Is it permissible for me to say: "Woe to so-and-so for an evil that has drawn near"?

There is no harm in quoting from the Prophet's ﷺ Sunnah for purposes other than jesting or idle talk, such as saying: "Woe to so-and-so from an evil that has drawn near," if there is a real evil you fear for him, and the quotation is not for idle talk, play, or amusement.
