Do the deceased's paternal uncles and aunts inherit from his brother's sons or his sisters?

The deceased's estate is divided among his children, with the male receiving the share of two females. The children of the son are excluded if the deceased has direct children.

As for the estate of the questioner's paternal uncle, who left behind only sisters and nephews, if the sisters are full sisters or consanguine sisters, they receive two-thirds, and the remainder goes to his nephews by way of ta'sib (residuary heirship). If they are uterine sisters (from the same mother only), they receive one-third, divided equally among them, and the remainder goes to the nephews by way of ta'sib.
