How is the inheritance of a deceased paternal uncle distributed if he has no wife or children, and his parents, brothers, and sisters passed away before him, and he has sons and daughters from his deceased brothers; and is it true that his sister's children do not inherit?

The sons of the brothers (nephews) alone inherit the estate of their deceased paternal uncle if he leaves no other relatives. The full-brother's son (son of a full-brother) is given precedence over others. However, the sons of sisters, the sons of uterine brothers (brothers from the mother's side only), the daughters of brothers, and the sons and daughters of sisters do not inherit because they are not 'Asabah (agnatic heirs) or Ashab al-Furud (sharers). It is recommended to refer the matter to the Sharia courts to verify all heirs, debts, and bequests.
