Is it permissible for a programmer to design a program and a database for a Sufi sheikhdom, knowing that Sufis have many innovations (bid'ahs), given that the program will register members' data and print membership cards, and in the future will be developed to send alert messages for attendance at Sufi events?

If the program helps the people of innovation (bid'ah) and superstitions perpetuate their ways, then it is impermissible to create it. This is because the Lawgiver (Shari') has prohibited aiding a sinner in his sin, as stated in the verse: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression" (Quran 5:2). And according to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Whoever calls to misguidance will bear a sin equivalent to the sins of those who follow him." The safest course of action is to stay away from Sufi paths. And remember the hadith of Wabisa: "Consult your heart. Righteousness is that with which the soul feels tranquility and the heart feels at ease, and sin is that which wavers in the soul and causes hesitation in the chest."
