It is not permissible for a woman to go to a male doctor unless it is confirmed that there is no female doctor available and there is an urgent need. Permissible massage during Ramadan is not forbidden. If no women are available for the massage, doctors should be consulted regarding the extent of the woman's need for it, because a man touching a woman is forbidden except for medical necessity. If a woman is compelled to be massaged by a man, the Sharia guidelines must be observed, such as covering the 'awrah, not uncovering what is not necessary, avoiding khalwa (private seclusion), and choosing the most pious and scrupulous individual.
