Is it permissible to marry if the bride's family demands alcohol be given to them?

If the conditions for marriage are met, then it is valid, and the payment of alcohol in it does not affect its validity. If alcohol is paid as a dowry, then the designation is invalid, and the woman is entitled to a dowry similar to that of her peers, and the marriage remains valid. Alcohol is forbidden by Islamic law, and drinking it or assisting in its consumption is among the major sins.
