How do I deal with my family who wrong me because of my appearance, and how do I behave with my sister who mistreated me because of it? Is it forbidden for me not to speak to her? What are the otherworldly compensations for such afflictions? Does my condition prevent me from marrying and affect my hope for Allah's mercy upon me?

Whoever criticizes Allah’s creation is offending the Creator. Allah does not look at bodies and forms, but rather at hearts and deeds. Do good deeds, do not despair of Allah’s mercy, and seek refuge in Him from Satan. Your sister’s accusation of you being pessimistic or envying her is forbidden. Be patient with them and advise them with the words of Allah Almighty: "O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people." Marriage is a destined provision, and true beauty is the beauty of knowledge and manners. Abandoning a sister is permissible only for a legitimate Sharia reason, not for a worldly one.
