Is it permissible to distance oneself from abusive parents with whom it is difficult to show dutifulness, and travel to a place that requires removing the niqab while adhering to the hijab, for fear of falling into disbelief due to the severity of the problems?

In times of hardship, a Muslim must be patient and believe in divine decree (Qada’ and Qadar). They must also be dutiful to their parents, even if the parents treat them poorly or strive to make them disbelieve. As for a woman traveling alone, especially to non-Muslim countries, and particularly if she abandons her hijab, it is unlawful (haram) in Islamic law. Furthermore, one must not despair of Allah's mercy and must plan to solve problems without falling into forbidden acts, while seeking help from relatives and trustworthy individuals, and avoiding living alone or traveling alone. One should maintain a righteous environment and trust that relief is near after hardship, and that piety towards Allah brings forth an exit and provision. It is recommended to supplicate and implore Allah for the guidance of one's parents and for the facilitation of affairs.
