Is it permissible for a seller to ask a buyer to transfer the price of the goods in advance if he does not have sufficient funds to purchase and sell them?

It is not permissible to sell specific goods before acquiring ownership of them, because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade selling what you do not possess.

To make this sale permissible, one of two methods can be followed: 1. You buy the goods on credit, acquire ownership, and take possession of them first, then sell them to the buyer. 2. You agree with the buyer to sell goods described in a trust (Salam sale), where the price is paid immediately and the goods are delivered at a specified future date.
